Fiona Clare

She/they

Fiona Clare is a biologist, writer, improvisor, and producer. She co-founded Three Fates with Paige and Hannah, and is producing You Are the Ghost in This House and Points of Articulation. She studied biology at the University of Minnesota, Morris, where she also was involved in theatre and improv. A science nerd and artist, Fiona likes to bring creativity into everything she does, and believes there’s more art in science than most people think.

When not working on science or YATGITH, she is currently working on a queer gothic horror novel and enjoys tabletop gaming, giving chaotic powerpoints to her friends, and going to plays with her mom.

Hannah Semmelhack

She/they

Hannah (she/they) is a part-time administrative assistant, part-time graduate student in Media Studies, part-time purveyour of fanfiction, and part-time writer and podcast creator. If you think that sounds like too many parts, you would be correct!

She created/writes/sound designs Points of Articulation and co-writes You are the Ghost in This House. Hannah’s current obsessions include learning to crochet and snuggling her two cats, Shadow and Ginzy.

You can find more about her at her website, or follow her as @pitchpine on social media.

Paige Elizabeth Allen

She/her

Paige Elizabeth Allen is a writer, researcher, theatremaker, and storyteller. She co-founded Three Fates with Hannah and Fiona, and she is a co-creator/writer of You are the Ghost in This House. She studied English, theatre, and creative writing at Princeton University and earned her master’s degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Oxford. Her dissertation explored haunted houses in the works of Shirley Jackson and Daisy Johnson—but surely that won’t have any influence on this work, right?

Paige’s favorite acting credits include Lizzy Bennett (Pride and Prejudice), Lizzie Borden (LIZZIE), Richard (Richard III), and Helen (Fun Home). This October, she appeared as Matilda Hays in the new play Affecting Expression by Eliana Cohen-Orth.

Paige’s writing has appeared in Milestones in Musical Theatre, the Oxford Review of Books, Fantastika Journal, Monstrum, and figments. She is currently co-authoring a book on feminist approaches to musical theatre.

You can find more of Paige’s work at her website.
